How it actually started
The Solstice Society began with a simple belief: no woman should miss out on seeing the world because she doesn’t have someone to go with.
After years of travelling both solo and with friends, I met countless women who all said the same thing:
“I’d love to travel more, but I don’t have anyone to go with.”
I realised the biggest barrier often wasn’t money or time, it was confidence, uncertainty, or simply not having a community of people who understood.
So I created one.
What started as a small WhatsApp community has grown into The Solstice Society: a place where women can share advice, ask questions, celebrate adventures and encourage each other to stop waiting for the “right time.”
Alongside the community, Sol & Solstice now brings those connections into the real world through thoughtfully designed group experiences for women who want to travel with confidence.
